Card Replacement, Cancellation and Return

Refer to the Step-by-step guide to replace a vocational licence card via GoBusiness Licensing portal (PDF, 748kB).

Step 1: Visit GoBusiness Licensing portal and log in with Singpass.

Step 2: Under the “Licence Application” tab, click “Amend Existing Licence”.

Step 3: Select the vocational licence you wish to replace. If you hold more than one type of vocational licence, you can select any one of your licences.

Step 4: Select “Replacement of Vocational Licence”, then key in your vocational licence number of the Licensee ID number.

Step 5: Follow the instructions on the screen to upload your photo in the required format and click “Submit”.

• The maximum file size of each document is 2MB
• Accepted file formats include pdf, jpg, gif, png, bmp

Step 5a: For defaced/damaged vocational licence card, upload the following supporting documents:

i.    A recent photograph of the licence holder (standard must be similar to those used for Passport making); 

ii.    Photograph of the previous vocational licence card; and

iii.   Copy of NRIC (Front & Back)

Step 5b: For lost vocational licence, upload the following supporting documents:

i.    A recent photograph of the licence holder (standard must be similar to those used for Passport making); 

ii.    Police report stating the loss of vocational licence (Only police reports made in Singapore are acceptable); and

iii.   Copy of NRIC (Front & Back)

Step 5c: For updating of personal details on your vocational licence card (i.e. change in name/citizenship), you may select replacement for "Defaced" licence card and upload the following supporting documents:

i.    Scanned copy of Deed Poll (for change of name);

ii.    Copy of NRIC with updated name/nationality (Front & Back); and

iii.    A recent photograph of the licence holder (standard must be similar to those used for Passport making)

Step 5d: If you still wish to own a physical card, after you have been issued a Digital LTA VL on the Singpass app, you may select " Request for Physical Vocational Licence" licence card.

Step 6: Make a non-refundable payment of $$21.80 via credit card, debit card or Paypal.

Step 1: Visit the GoBusiness Licensing portal and log in with Singpass or Login ID.

Step 2: Under the “Licence Application” tab, click “Cancel Existing Licence”.

Step 3: Select the vocational licence you wish to cancel.

Step 4: Key in your vocational licence number or Licensee ID.

Step 5: Fill in the information required and click “Proceed”.

Step 6: You will see an acknowledgement that you have successfully submitted the cancellation request. You will receive another notification via your GoBusiness Licence account and email when your cancellation request is approved.
