Card Replacement, Cancellation and Return

Refer to the Request for Physical Card User Guide (PDF, 1.2MB).

Step 1: Visit GoBusiness portal and log in with Singpass or Login ID.

Step 2: Go to “Licences” and click “Amend Licences”.

Step 3: Under “Active Licences” tab, click “Amend” under “Select Action”.

Step 4: Under “Type of Amendment”, select “Request for Physical Card”.

Step 5: Under “Request Physical Card”, select the “Reason of Replacement” and upload the required supporting documents.

• The maximum file size of each document is 5MB
• Accepted file formats include pdf, jpg, gif, png, bmp

Step 5a: To replace your lost vocational licence, you may select “Replace Lost Card” under "Request Physical Card" and upload the following supporting documents:

i.    A recent photograph of the licence holder (standard must be similar to those used for Passport making); 

ii.    Police report stating the loss of vocational licence (Only police reports made in Singapore are acceptable); and

iii.   Copy of NRIC (Front & Back)

Step 5b: To replace your vocational licence card (Due to Change in Name / Citizenship), you may select “Replace Existing Card (Due to Change in Name / Citizenship)” under "Request Physical Card" and upload the following supporting documents:

i.    Scanned copy of Deed Poll (for change of name);

ii.   Copy of NRIC with updated name/nationality (Front & Back); and

iii.  A recent photograph of the licence holder (standard must be similar to those used for Passport making)

Step 5c: To replace defaced/damaged vocational licence card, you may select “Replace Damaged Card” under "Request Physical Card" and upload the following supporting documents:

i.    A recent photograph of the licence holder (standard must be similar to those used for Passport making); 

ii.   Photograph of the previous vocational licence card; and

iii.  Copy of NRIC (Front & Back)

Step 5d: If you still wish to own a physical card, after you have been issued a Digital LTA VL on the Singpass app, you may select “Issue New Physical Card” under "Request Physical Card" and upload the following supporting documents:

i.    A recent photograph of the licence holder (standard must be similar to those used for Passport making); 

ii.   Copy of NRIC (Front & Back)                

Step 6: Review your details under “Review Form”. Once done, click on “Declaration”.

Step 7: Read through the declaration. Once done, check on the declaration box and click on “Make payment”.

Step 8: Proceed with the on-screen instruction to make a non-refundable payment of $21.80 using a credit card/debit card. You will see a notification that you have successfully submitted the application and payment has been made.

Step 1: Visit the GoBusiness portal and log in with Singpass or Login ID.

Step 2:  Go to “Licences” and click “Amend Licences”.

Step 3: Under “Active Licences” tab, click “Cancel” under “Select Action”.

Step 4: Fill up the required information under “Applicant Detail” and click “Application Details” to proceed.

Step 5: Check on the VL to cancel.

Step 6: Select the reason for VL cancellation and click “Review Form”.

Step 7: Review your details under “Review Form”. Once done, click on “Declaration”.

Step 8: Read through the declaration. Once done, check on the declaration box and click on “Submit” to proceed with VL cancellation.

Step 9: You will see an acknowledgement that you have successfully submitted the cancellation request. You will receive another notification via your GoBusiness account and email when your cancellation request is approved.
