You can drive your Singapore-registered vehicle out of Singapore and back if you meet these requirements.

Before driving out of Singapore, you must meet certain exit requirements. You must pay tolls by inserting your stored-value card into the card reader at the immigration booth when you exit and re-enter Singapore. Failure to pay your tolls can result in fines.

Before exiting Singapore
You must have the following:
- 3/4 tank of fuel
- Your vehicle’s fuel tank must be at least three-quarters full when exiting Singapore. This applies to all vehicles, including hybrid vehicles and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles.

- A valid printed copy of your vehicle’s certificate of insurance (Malaysian authorities may request to see this document)
- A valid printed copy of your vehicle’s road tax validity (Malaysian authorities may request to see this document)
View or print past road-tax transactions on your dashboard - A stored-value card
- Ensure that your stored-value card (NETS CashCard or CEPAS Card) has sufficient value to pay toll charges

Remember to pay your toll charges before driving away from the immigration booth, to avoid fines of up to $1,000. You have to pay the toll charges even if the barrier is lifted after immigration clearance.
Remember to top up your stored-value card in other parts of Singapore in advance, as there are no top-up machines at the checkpoints.
Right Turn Restriction from Woodlands Centre Road to Woodlands Crossing (Johor)
During restricted hours, motorists are not allowed to turn right from Woodlands Centre Road into Woodlands Crossing to enter the Woodlands Checkpoint. Motorists must proceed to Woodlands Road or turn left onto Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) when the right turn restriction is in operation.
The restricted hours for the different types of vehicles are below:

Returning to Singapore
When driving back to Singapore, pay toll charges by inserting your stored-value card (NETS CashCard or CEPAS Card) into the card reader at the checkpoint immigration booth.
Remember to pay your toll charges before driving away from the immigration booth, to avoid fines of up to $1,000. You have to pay the toll charges even if the barrier is lifted after immigration clearance.
